Modern Wushu

Wushu (more commonly known as “Kung Fu”) is the style of martial arts displayed in movies such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and movies starring Jet Li and Jackie Chan.

  It is a dynamic, flowing martial art form that emphasizes coordination, power, and grace.

Wushu is an efficient method for achieving health, fitness, mental discipline, and can be practiced as a recreational pursuit and for competition. It is the most exciting martial arts to be seen, felt, and practiced.  . 

Wu Fit Fitness

Wu Fit Fitness was created about 10 years ago by Coach Peter as a way to help people stay fit.

 Wu Fit Fitness consists of stretching, Strength Training, as well as Wushu (Chinese Martial Arts) and Sanda (Chinese Kick Boxing).

Wu Fit is a full body fitness program. Wu Fit Fitness is a great way to get in shape and stay fit for all.

About our Online Wushu Training

My mother and I have been taking lessons from Coach Peter for many years now and we have been blessed by his instruction, friendship, experience and knowledge of Wushu. Both our in-person and online lessons have been professional, productive and challenging. Wushu is the best full-body workout and we will continue with our virtual meetings, recordings, practice and feedback corrections for the joy of Wushu and the support of Coach Peter.

Coach Peter was a huge impact in my formative and adolescent years. On top of being a phenomenal Wushu Coach, he created a welcoming environment where no one had any ill will towards one another. That is something that is rarely found in my experience and can be attributed to Coach Peter's positivity and fair attitude towards his students. In terms of Wushu, I can say that I learned a great deal from someone who is an expert of this discipline. In terms of life, I can also say that I have learned what true passion was from someone who was truly passionate about this martial art.
